I want to create an environment which I can use for website presentations of my art work. I paint in oils, use both renaissance techniques but also heavy pallet knife work. The works are more toward contemporary realism, but are not photorealistic, rather a combination of modern chiaroscuro and impressionist realism. I look for the essence of my subjects, whether it be a person, forest or mountain. I bring that essence, "Erscheinung" to life in my paintings. I would like the presentation to reflect that in the works.
